Common questions
Which iPhones does DayVoice work on?
DayVoice runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later. Voice reminders work on supported iPhone models; some system features may vary by device and iOS version.
How do I get help?
Email hello@dayvoice.app with your question, the iPhone model you are using, and what you were trying to do. If you are reporting a bug, a screenshot or screen recording is especially helpful.
Why didn't my reminder play out loud?
Check that your iPhone is not muted, volume is turned up, notifications are allowed for DayVoice, and Focus modes are not silencing the app. Also make sure the reminder still has a voice message attached.
Can I use my own voice?
Yes. You can record your own voice message and use it as the audio that plays when the reminder fires.
Do AI voices need an internet connection?
Creating a new AI voice reminder may require an internet connection. Once audio is available on your device, DayVoice is designed to play reminders back locally when the notification fires.
Where are my voice recordings stored?
Personal voice recordings are stored on your device for use with your reminders. For more detail, read the DayVoice Privacy Policy.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Open the Settings app, tap your Apple ID name, then tap Subscriptions. Choose DayVoice to manage or cancel your subscription. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple.
How do I request a refund?
Refund requests go through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and choose the DayVoice purchase you want Apple to review.
Is DayVoice available on iPad, Apple Watch, or Android?
DayVoice is currently focused on iPhone. We may consider other platforms later, but the launch version is built for iPhone-first voice reminders.
