By using DayVoice, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language because legalese helps no one.
1. Who we are
DayVoice ("we", "us") is an iPhone app that turns reminders into voice playback. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store.
2. Your account
DayVoice uses your Apple ID for app installation and subscriptions. We don't run our own account system. Keep your Apple ID secure.
3. Subscriptions
- DayVoice Pro is available as a weekly or yearly subscription, processed by Apple.
- The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings.
- Pricing may change. We'll give you advance notice in-app before any price increase affects your subscription.
4. Refunds
All purchases go through Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through your App Store account. We don't issue refunds directly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use DayVoice to harass, harm, or impersonate others.
- Use AI-generated voices to defraud or deceive people about who is speaking.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
- Use the app to violate any applicable law.
6. AI-generated content
DayVoice produces voice audio generated by AI from the text you provide. You're responsible for what you put in. Don't use the AI voices to misrepresent another person, generate harmful content, or violate anyone's rights.
7. Intellectual property
The app, including its design, code, and trademarks, is owned by us. The reminders you create are yours. AI-generated audio from your reminders is yours to use for personal purposes.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep DayVoice running, but we can't promise zero downtime. AI voice generation depends on third-party services that may occasionally be unavailable.
9. Disclaimers
DayVoice is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that reminders will fire in time-critical situations. Don't use DayVoice as a medical, safety, or emergency alert system.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DayVoice. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continuing to use DayVoice after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Termination
You can stop using DayVoice anytime by deleting the app and canceling your subscription. We can terminate or restrict access if you breach these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Italy, unless a mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.
